Chevrolet Nubira Station Wagon

Chevrolet Nubira Station Wagon (body-relative) is available with three engines, two petrol and one diesel, manual or automatic and two levels of equipment (SX and CDX).

The Nubira SW cheaper cost € 15,075, the diesel version more affordable € 18,300.

This family version is 65 mm longer than the four-door, though the wheelbase is the same, its length is 4580 mm. The width does not vary with respect to the four doors (1,725 mm) and height increased from 1445 mm to 1500 mm (counting the bars on the roof, a feature that is standard on all versions).

In the rear seat, backrest tilts forward in proportion 60/40. Unlike other relatives, the sidewalk has no longitudinal adjustment (such as the Astra Station Wagon or Fiat Stilo Multiwagon).

Loses some of the boot volume with respect to the four-door version, going from 405 to 400 l. As usual, thereby losing the ability to boot wins in ease of loading. The downside is that with 400 l, the boot is among the smallest of the family comparable. Shot the back of the second row of the volume grows to 1410 liters (measured to the ceiling).

Interestingly, the Nubira Station Wagon dashboard is not the same as in the Nubira four-door, but it is the same as the Lacetti (the three models share a platform).

There are three available engines, two petrol and a Turbo. The petrol is a 1.6-liter 16-valve, 109 hp power. With this engine the Nubira reaches 187 km / h and gets an average consumption of 7.8 l/100 km. (0.7 l/100km over the Nubira four-door). The other is a 1.8 liters, including 16 valves and 122 hp power. The Nubira SW 1.8 16V can reach 195 km / h and its average consumption is 7.4 l/100 km. The diesel engine is 1991 cm ³ and 121 hp. With it, the maximum speed is 186 km / h and average consumption 6.0 l/100 km.

The shift has some very long walks and is somewhat slow in operation, all versions are five gears. The most powerful petrol engine and can carry a diesel automatic gearbox (the first of four walks and five in the Diesel).

The design of the bodywork of Nubira four-door was designed by Pininfarina. The Station Wagon from the base but Chevrolet (in the GM design center Bupyong, South Korea) gave a different style to the grid at the bottom of the bumper and the bonnet (which has a different vein). Also this department is by design of the rear bodywork.
