The Liberty KJ was a replacement of Jeep Cherokee XJ and available in PowerTech engines (2.4L PowerTech I4 and 3.7L PowerTech V6), later it also available in VM Motori 2.8L I4 commonrail turbodiesel. Features a part time Command Trac or full Time Select Trac 4WD systems, and independent front suspension. Available transmissions are New Venture Gear NVG NV1500, or NVG NV3500; NSG370, 42RLE, 45RFE or 5-45RFE.
