You just purchase it knowing that they will probably occur (Chrysler = A/C, GM = Electrical, Ford = rattles and electrical, Toyota = Rattles and high repair bills) These issues are from my experience of driving them. .... I'd still rather have a Passat 4Motion or even a Jetta Sportwagen, despite what you say, this car IS hideous. The overly-common Honda 5 speed automatic is never in the right gear though, it stays in gear going up hills rather than downshift when floored. ...
